Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (21 to 35 hours/week)

Our Delta team is small, collaborative, and growing quickly. To support our busiest season, we are seeking a temporary Recruitment Assistant to join our dynamic environment.

The Recruitment Assistant provides key administrative and recruitment support to a team of Recruiters. This role is perfect for someone energetic, articulate, outgoing, and proactive—someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences to both candidates and clients. If you enjoy multitasking, adapting quickly, and bringing organization to a fast-paced office, you’ll excel in this position.

Act as the first point of contact for candidates, clients, and staff, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and memorable experience.
Deliver prompt, friendly communication and ongoing support to both candidates and clients.
Assist Recruiters with database searches, candidate pre-screening, and junior-level interviews.
Support urgent temporary and permanent job orders as needed.
Coordinate interviews, complete reference checks, administer testing, and process registration/onboarding documents.
Maintain and update candidate pipelines in our CRM.
Prepare “hot candidate” summaries and assist with job postings on social media.
Provide occasional reception coverage, including answering phones, managing mail, and opening/closing the office.
Complete general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document management, and calendar support using MS Office and Adobe tools.
Offer immediate backup support to Recruiters during peak periods.
Assist with special projects and other tasks assigned by the Manager, Recruitment.
University degree or post-secondary diploma; relevant recruitment or HR experience is an asset.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe; strong overall technical and research ability.
Experience in a professional services office; exposure to full-cycle recruitment is an advantage.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with professionalism and integrity.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills; polished and professional presence.
Friendly, confident, approachable, reliable, and punctual.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency.

Hourly wage of $18–$19, depending on experience.
