Summary
Participate in the active detection and remediation of security vulnerabilities using industry leading technologies to automate and verify security compliance for our managed customers.
Bridge the gap between out clients Systems Administrators and Security Systems administrators best practices to achieve the highest possible security posture without compromising business operations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Answer client requests via tickets / emails regarding their security vulnerabilities or deployments
- Advise customers during critical patch release as to their options for deploying, mitigating or accepting risk
- Handle after hours maintenance windows for deploying security fixes
- Build and maintain client documentations pertaining to their service delivery needs
Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience.Experience using software deployment tools such as SCCM, Shavlik, Bigfix, etc.Experience in server infrastructure managementExperience with operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, RedHat, Mac OSX, UbuntuExperience with database such as MSSQL and MySQLExperience with scripting languages such as VB, pearl, python, etc.Comfortable using systems with CLI onlyCCNA or equivalent networking skills an asset
