Key Responsibilities
Intakes, schedules and allocates resources for projects and campaigns requiring the Foresters Creative team for execution and delivery
Acts as first point of contact / integration for business partner requests, will validate with stakeholders and design team to develop project scope and work-back schedules, supporting the end-to-end delivery of initiatives
Ensures business partner requests are comprehensive in nature for optimal development of creative that delivers on project objectives
Creates work-back schedules and tracks deadlines and budgets for projects across all business partner areas
Orients freelancers or temporary contractors, getting them up-to-speed on projects or tasks they will assist with
Sets program deliverables by task for each team member, ability to manage, prioritize or re-prioritize tasks as new items are requested or project scope changes
Identifies and resolves concerns about priorities, operational efficiency or delays in meeting project milestones
Collaborates with all stakeholders, internal and external to ensure success during campaign launch through to completion
Helps to identify operational efficiencies and refine Foresters creative marketing delivery process
Is a subject matter expert in and champion of Foresters marketing workflow management tool (Asana) and trains new marketing staff and freelancers so partner approvals are secured and audit trail is captured
Supports Creative Studio Manager in the leading of weekly resource and / or status meetings, demonstrating ownership of assigned workflows, flagging and communicating potential issues, risks and changes
Assists in the forecasting of creative resource needs based on monthly and annual planning of incoming work and supports the Creative Studio Manager in assembling of quarterly reporting of total team creative output including analysis of metrics and future recommendations.
Key Qualifications
- Education (minimum required) : Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, advertising, design, a related creative discipline or equivalent work experience in the creative industry or field of marketing.
- P roject management education / certification (i.e., PMP, Scrum Agile, Kanban) an asset.
- Experience (minimum required) : 3+ years of print / digital production, project management and / or traffic experience within an agency or corporate in-house environment
- Previous experience with workflow management software such as Asana (preferred), Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc. and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs : Word, PowerPoint and Excel
