Position Summary

Are you looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Recreational Therapy department.

In accordance with the vision and values of the organization and under the general supervision of a senior position such as a Recreation Therapist, Program Coordinator, Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist, the Activity Worker is a member of the multidisciplinary team within a client and family centered model of care and is responsible for carrying out an established activity / recreation / leisure program as directed.

Dunrovin Park Lodge

Dunrovin Park Lodge is a 91‑bed intermediate care residential facility with 19 special care beds. It provides respite services and an adult day program. The Quesnel and area palliative care hospice care beds are also located in this facility, for a total of 117 beds facility wide.

Quesnel is a small city with big opportunity. It boasts a vibrant, creative and family friendly lifestyle, rich with culture and community spirit. The city is nestled on the banks of the Quesnel and Fraser rivers, and has a diverse population of 23,000 people. The major industries include forestry, agriculture, mining and tourism.
