Essential Responsibilities and Duties :
- Growing the sales of Monarch products within the assigned territory.
- Managing the complete sales cycle from consultation with customers to closing.
- Identifying new customers through research, networking and cold calling.
- Implementing marketing plans to increase sales and margins.
- Proactively managing existing accounts while prospecting for new business within existing customer base.
- Developing and implementing detailed plans to maximize sales for each customer.
- Collaborating with Business Development, Product Management and Engineering to develop effective sales plans, ensuring sales and margin targets are met in the near term and sustained into the future.
- Facilitating improved communication within the organization by monitoring current and future requirements to ensure Monarch is well positioned to sustain and increase business.
- Monitoring customers’ business conditions and communicating with the organization to ensure customer service and financial targets are being met.
- Compiling and communicating accurate sales forecasts continuously.
- Conduct all activities and execute all duties with enthusiasm and a positive, results- focused attitude.
- Support company initiatives and policies enthusiastically.
- Travel throughout North America approximately one week a month.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required :
An established track record of selling technical or industrial products and solutions, demonstrating success through various market conditions.Experience that demonstrates capability of developing solutions with customers’ Engineering Departments.Will have experience and success selling to OEM’s.Education Required :
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.Skills and Attributes Required :
