Supervises the Floor Security Officers on scheduled shifts and ensures our staff, site, company assets and guests are secure and protected at all times. Ensures compliance with company and regulatory body policies and procedures and maintains constant communication with property management and Surveillance. Ensures that excellent customer service is provided to guests. Leads direct reports and communicates issues, concerns, and feedback.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing, supervising and participating in security activities. Supervises, fostering teamwork, providing instruction and direction as needed, ensuring safe work practices are followed, coordinating break times, and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures.Manages the performance of Floor Security Officers including : training, appraising performance, providing positive and corrective feedback, coaching, and administering discipline; handles payroll and human resources issues for staff members.Develops, supervises staff to achieve high levels of customer service and sets an example of excellent customer service standards for all staff.Provides excellent customer service by greeting customer, answering questions, and providing solutions to customer complaints.Ensures that the casino site is secure by monitoring floor traffic, watching for suspicious activity, and managing staff radio and key assignment (and access control where required).Reports to management regarding the financial, human resources and supply needs.Maintains constant communication with Casino Management and Surveillance.Conducts customer self-exclusion interviews.Ensures that emergency procedures are executed properly and enforces fire code regulationsMay provide escort services for box pulls, card transfers, ATM machines, NRT machines, vehicles, and first aid.Initiates and conducts objective internal and criminal investigations and writes concise and accurate reports.Secures and maintains card stock by conducting audits and maintaining card inventory.(at applicable sites)Communicates with outside agencies when required.Performs other duties as required.What You Bring
Previous Security supervisor experience and Security training is a strong asset.Proven high level of Customer Service.Organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.Completion of Gaming Security Officer (GSO) training / exam prior to start (employer will sponsor) OR valid BC Security License and completion of Gaming Security Officer (GSO) training / exam within 90 days of start in B.C.Completion of Serving It Right prior to start date (in BC).Why Work for Us?
