About the Opportunity
As an Electrical Team Lead , you will contribute to high-profile projects from conceptual design to completion while leading a team of skilled Electrical Designers and Revit / CAD Drafters. You’ll apply your expertise in electrical systems across commercial, retail, and institutional buildings, foster client relationships, and guide your team to success.
Your Responsibilities
- Be the lead Project Manager for your projects, overseeing all aspects of the CA and PM process.
- Design electrical systems for commercial buildings, including high / medium / low voltage distribution, lighting, dimming controls, emergency power, grounding, and fire alarm systems.
- Review your team’s work during the detailed design process.
- Represent the Electrical Engineering Group in design coordination meetings.
- Oversee construction phase reviews, progress draw assessments, and prepare change notices.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Mechanical, Structural, and Communication disciplines.
- Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and technical quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage and mentor a team of Electrical Drafters and Designers.
Your Qualifications
A university degree in Electrical Engineering.At least 5 years of experience in electrical systems design for ICI buildings.Experience with LEED-certified, multidisciplinary projects is a strong asset.P.Eng designation preferred (or close to completion).Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills.What We Offer
