You Are :

A deep technologist who knows multiple commerce platforms and adjacent technologies. You are known for your knack in crafting, analyzing, and executing impactful Commerce strategies. Clients trust you to articulate detailed technology plans and implementation strategies with clarity and precision. You have a mix of technical and consulting mindset and can persuade, influence and advise.

The Work :

  • Provide subject matter expertise to identify and recommend workable solutions to clients
  • Ensure overall success of complex and large-scale Commerce programs
  • Lead the technical aspects of Commerce projects, including data, AI and Customer Data Platforms
  • Build great client relationships with the most senior client technologists and also be able to influence broader executive audiences
  • Work with the delivery and technical leads to develop the overall implementation solution plan and serve as a lead, as required, overseeing aspects of the project life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design and implementation phases for Commerce projects
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Commerce projects, from requirement gathering to solution design, implementation, and post-launch support.
  • Dive deep into the Commerce space to understand the landscape in which clients operate, identifying their business options within the broader context of global economic, technological, and social trends.
  • Lead teams to provide world-class consulting solutions to clients in the Commerce space to meet the unique market and organizational need.

Here's What You'll Need :

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Customer Technology Commerce space
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working with either Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in solution design and architecture of large, complex Commerce solutions
  • Proven track record of driving consulting and strategy sales with Commerce clients
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
  • Bonus Points If :

  • Experience with Composable Commerce
  • Experience with other major Commerce platforms
  • Experience with adjacent digital platform technology, e.g. content management, digital marketing, customer data etc.
  • Experience with Front-end architecture and experience optimization approaches
  • Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
