Senior Accountant (Consolidations)

Responsibilities :

Participate in the monthly consolidation of the client’s Product Groups.

Train and guide team members to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Prepare and deliver training programs for internal teams.

Analyze consolidated financial statements to ensure they meet all stakeholder requirements.

Prepare financial reports for senior management.

Provide guidance on Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and other accounting practices to enhance performance.

Ensure compliance with the Risk and Control Matrix (RACM) and support internal / external auditors during SOX and substantive audits.

Drive process improvements using data analytics and digital solutions.

Collaborate with teams across global operations.

What you will need to succeed :

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

CPA or equivalent certification.

8+ years of experience in consolidation within a large, multinational, multi-currency organization.

Bilingual in English and French to support daily collaboration with international teams.

Solid understanding of IFRS and experience in preparing consolidated statements of cash flows.

Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is an asset.

Knowledge of accounting for financial assets and liabilities is an asset.

SAP experience is beneficial.

Analytical problem-solving capabilities, including variance analysis.

Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
