Job Overview :

As a Carpentry Labourer, you will assist in the construction and renovation of residential properties, learning from experienced carpenters and other tradespeople. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in carpentry, with the potential for apprenticeship and skill development. The role involves working at various job sites in the Sauble Beach area, and you must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to commute to these locations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair in new home and / or renovation projects.
• Perform general labour tasks on construction sites, including lifting, carrying, and organizing materials.
• Prepare and clean the work site, ensuring tools and materials are properly set up.
• Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools with guidance from experienced workers.
• Participate in demolition, framing, and finishing tasks as needed.
• Help ensure that all work meets quality standards, following blueprints and project specifications.
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and project goals.
