QUALIFICATIONS :

Education, Training And Experience

Ph.D. in Clinical or Counselling Psychology. Registered with, or eligible for registration with, the College of Psychology of BC Minimum of five (5) years of recent related experience working with adult clientele in mental health and addictions facility or related field. Experience with short-term treatment and group psychotherapy work. Specific expertise and experience with treatment in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is essential. Knowledge of and experience with treatment specific to crisis stabilization, urgent response and Borderline Personality Disorder, such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, will be an important asset. Valid BC Driver's licence.

• Ability to respect client's rights, values and preferences including multi-cultural issues.
• Knowledge of the interactions between addictions and mental disorders.
