Compensation
- $80,000 – $85,000 salary

Position Description
As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will be the technical cornerstone supporting both customers and the internal sales team. Your work will help translate real-world manufacturing needs into practical, engineered solutions. From evaluating customer specs to guiding equipment integration on the plant floor, you will play an important role in delivering reliable, high-quality automation components.
This role is especially suited to someone who has spent time in automotive manufacturing environments and understands how tooling, mechanical systems, and automation equipment are integrated into production lines.
- Reviewing customer drawings, technical requirements, and application needs to recommend the right components and solutions.
- Preparing accurate quotations and collaborating closely with internal teams to finalize product details.
- Supporting customers during installation, integration, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
- Delivering clear technical guidance, both on-site and remotely, including user support and training.
- Tracking orders and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Participating in demos, trade shows, and other events that help showcase product capabilities.
- Maintaining organized project files, updates, and documentation within internal systems.
Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (or a related technical discipline).
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Background in automotive or high-volume manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with integrating robotic tooling, automation components, or gripping systems into production lines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specs, and engineering documents.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into customer-friendly language.
- Proficiency with major CAD platforms such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or Fusion.
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly.
- Valid G driver’s license for occasional customer visits.
Education
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (or a related technical discipline).
