Director, Global Product Governance Reporting & Analysis

Reporting to the Global Head of Product Governance, this role is accountable for the timely and accurate production of reporting and harmonization of global reporting materials.

Responsibilities :

  • Leading and developing process governance for reporting materials, including capturing primary audience(s) of report, methodologies / rules for updating, consistency, data sourcing and controls, audit trails, and quality assurance.
  • Designing materials for impact ensuring materials remain relevant for our key stakeholders, implementing human-centered design principles, so reporting evolves in a controlled fashion with the agreement of senior leaders on the team, as the business evolves.
  • Project management / proactively communicate with impact and effectiveness; execute the process for key deliverables, managing timelines with respect to key reporting deliverables, keeping stakeholders aligned with respect to both contributions and deliverables.

Further, a key objective will be to collaborate with the team and stakeholders to harmonize and automate the existing process & procedures, focusing on efficiency and scalability.

In addition, this role and the team will provide project management as it relates to global strategic initiatives, analysis to support product related / strategic initiatives and Management Information and Reporting.

This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires a highly motivated self-starter, who welcomes targets and accountability and is proactive in delivering superior service for our functions and business.

What we are looking for?

  • Knowledge of product structures, such as UCITS domiciled within Luxembourg & Ireland, US, Canada, Cayman and Asian jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, including familiarity with various asset / fund types : equity, fixed income, property, cash and multi-asset and private markets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment of the above-mentioned product structures.
  • Strong product governance / reporting experience in asset management.
  • Project management experience : excellent organizational and time management skills - ability to manage multiple projects, across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to contribute to product related (mutual fund, UCITS, CIT, etc.) research;

the ability to utilize and articulate independent thought and judgment is highly valued.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal with various internal and external parties.
  • University graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 10-years of working experience in Asset Management / Investment Fund industry, experience in product management would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerBI, and other investment industry standard data sources (i.e. Morningstar Direct).

Location : Toronto, Ontario

Salary Range : $103,050.00 CAD - $185,490.00 CAD
