Position : Geotechnical Quality Control Technician

Location : Toronto, Ontario.

Salary Range : $50,000 to $65,000 Full-time permanent (40 hours a week).

Role Description

The full-time on-site role is for a Quality Control Technician located in Toronto, ON. The Technician will conduct quality assurance and quality control tests, utilize analytical and laboratory skills, and manage laboratory equipment to ensure the highest quality standards in all projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conducting QA / QC for deep piled foundation systems (and non-piled).
  • Designing, installing, wiring, and maintaining geotechnical instrumentation.
  • Collaborating with our engineering team to develop innovative solutions.
  • Performing site investigations.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the required information is obtained.

Qualifications :

  • A degree in Civil Engineering Technician or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles. Previous hands-on work experience is considered a MUST.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
