About the Opportunity
Our Hagersville client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join their Quality Department. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity in a regulated food and dairy manufacturing environment , ideal for candidates who value consistency, precision, and contributing to food safety and quality.
This position is offered through 3PL Inc. , a licensed Temporary Help Agency. Successful candidates will be employed by 3PL Inc. and assigned to a client worksite.

$26.00 – $29.00 per hour
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
Schedule & Employment Type
Monday to Friday | 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Day shift
Occasional weekends as required
Full-time hours
Temporary | Assignment-based (with potential for extension based on operational needs)
What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include :
Preparing samples, media, and buffers for daily laboratory analysis
Performing chemical and microbiological testing of dairy products
Conducting product sampling and environmental / equipment swabbing
Accurately generating, recording, and reporting test results
Maintaining detailed records and performing computer-based data entry
Calibrating and maintaining laboratory instruments
Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the laboratory
Working closely with production teams on sanitation, hygiene, and GMP practices
Supporting and monitoring Quality, Food Safety, and SQF systems
Completing tasks efficiently and supporting additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or food processing environment (preferred)
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, or Quality Assurance
Strong knowledge of :
Microbiological procedures and aseptic techniques
HACCP, GMPs, allergens, and food security
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and availability for occasional weekend work
Canadian experience is not required. Equivalent international experience is welcome.
Safety & PPE
CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear (green patch) required
All additional PPE provided on site
Strict adherence to food safety, GMP, sanitation, and site safety requirements is mandatory
