JOB DESCRIPTION
AAA Canada is looking for an License Avionics to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Qualified to perform electrical wire and systems installation tasks under the supervision of a licensed Avionics Technician in a manufacturing production environment
- Responsible to the assigned leader and have ability to take direction verbally and through printed media
- Basic knowledge of Standard Wiring Practices and Avionics Systems, accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, engineering orders, test documents, manufacturer’s installation manuals.
- Have a basic understanding of other aircraft systems i.e. hydraulic, flight controls and major components
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems and equipment, including communication, navigation, flight control, and entertainment systems
- Repair, fabricate parts and components; fabricate per drawings and standard practices wire bundles and assemblies to include marking of wires, properly securing wires into bundles, and termination of wires into a variety of contacts and connectors
- Perform system checks and inspections to ensure avionics systems are in compliance with industry and safety standards
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain inventory of tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean work area, and alert the leadership team of any safety concerns; take immediate action or report immediately any unsafe conditions
- Responsible for ensuring both accuracy and traceability of parts removed or installed on Aircraft
- Perform other work as assigned and willing to work shift work
- Properly utilize Avionics test equipment to perform systems tests. Properly utilize and maintain Avionics hand tools to perform installations and repairs
- Safely operate ground support equipment, i.e. Power carts, lifts (when properly trained), etc. as required

Shall hold a current AME “E” Transport Canada licensePositive attitude and strong work ethicDemonstrated organizational skills and attention to detailAble to work effectively independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skills and familiarity with InternetGood oral and written communication skillsHave experience with general aircraft wiring repair, fabrication and installationPossess knowledge expected of an Aircraft Avionics and Electronics Technician on aircraft types handled by the CompanyAbility to work in confined spaces and at heightsAbility to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbsAbility to acquire a Transport Canada issued Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)Required experience
