As a Floater, Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and drafting legal documents and procedures in various areas of law.

You will report to human resources and be assigned to teams that are facing a surplus of work.

YOUR ROLE:

• Drafting and revising correspondence, various documents, and legal procedures, and ensuring
their follow-up;

• Formatting letters and documents based on handwritten or dictated texts;

• Transcribing dictations;

• Reviewing documents and correspondence to verify that they comply with legal procedures and
grammatical usage;

• Prepare client files (correspondence, supporting documents);

• Manage phone calls and lawyers' schedules and follow up on them;

• Open, file, track, and organize paper and electronic files.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in secretarial studies, or Diploma of College Studies (DCS); Legal specialization required;

• Experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant;

• Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite;

• Excellent organizational skills and good priority management;

• Meticulousness, rigor and attention to detail;

• Good organizational capacity and priority management.
