As Sports Interaction’s Content Coordinator, you will have a passion for sports betting and gaming and understand how to manage a sportsbook that optimizes business requirements while creating a fun, enjoyable and trouble-free experience for the customer.

You will be responsible for developing & delivering a fully localized Content plan – creating, maintaining, and optimizing content (sports & gaming) for Sports Interaction in Canada (Ontario, Alberta, Québec and other regions), ensuring that the most relevant information – key sport events, casino launches, etc. – is communicated.

An analytical mindset, together with attention to detail and copywriting skills, will be critical to thrive in this role. We expect you to be data-driven, proactive, and have good interpersonal communication skills both in English and French. Interaction with the Trading and Gaming teams will be necessary to fully understand and support the business strategy, up-sell sports products and cross-sell opportunities.

The role reports to the Content Senior Manager and maintains a key relationship with the Content Executive, providing plans, monitoring results, and driving improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Create fully localized content plan across all regions of Canada, both in English and French
  • Monitor, support, and analyze the deliveries of the Content Executive
  • Identify opportunities for unique, localized propositions and content that set Sports Interaction apart from its competitors
  • Analyze data and create reports to inform content decision-making
  • Work alongside Trading team to ensure posting of relevant props and markets as identified, and Casino team to ensure the promotion of the new games
  • Manage Sports Interaction’s betting display content and navigation touchpoints, taking the daily sports schedule into account to optimize the positioning of key menu links and content modules.
  • Highlight key events during the day to facilitate the customer journey and drive revenue on related betting opportunities.
  • Monitor the most betted sports events / competitions and Casino games; use the data for content planning.
  • Populate and manage the Casino page.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell players from other verticals to the Sportsbook, with a key focus on increasing the Sportsbook visibility across the Casino platform, and vice versa.
  • Work alongside the UX team to optimize user journeys for new and existing players.

Specialist skills and experience

Essential

  • Canadian native speaker of French, with a deep knowledge on Canadian culture and sports.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English and French languages with exceptional skills in spelling, punctuation and grammar, including a keen eye for detail.
  • Degree educated (preferably Marketing, Communication or Management).
  • Able to analyze data and make decisions based on it.
  • Capable of working from home independently and autonomously, with excellent time management skills.
  • Highly motivated & enthusiastic individual, who works to develop their skills base.
  • Experience in working with CMS tools.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and Design.
  • Genuine passion and in-depth knowledge of a variety of sports.
  • Always able to meet deadlines set by the business.
  • Responds positively to change.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to plan and prioritize.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
