Extruder Operator

Join our team as an Extruder Operator at CCC Plastics .

CCC is proud of its over 100 years serving the Canadian industry both in distribution and manufacturing markets. A privately held Canadian company, we are a successful supply chain partner providing “Intelligent Delivery” of products and solutions to the industrial, environmental, and plastics industries. We currently operate two manufacturing sites in Colborne and Elmira, Ontario, with supporting warehouses and sales representatives across Canada and in the Northeastern United States.

We require Extruder Operators because we are continuing to grow at our Colborne facility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Continuously monitoring mixer and extruder controls
• Setting barrel, die-screw cooling temperatures for maximum quality run
• Cleaning mixer prior to loading verified mix; cleaning extruder and preparing for mix
• Dumping flow bins for transport to extruder
• Extruding product and recording data at intervals
• Weighing and packaging product; recording weights on run sheet

Continuous standing / climbing stairs while running extruder

Qualifications

PS : The starting rate is $25 / hr. After one year the rate is $32.52 / hr along with $1.65 / hr as a continental shift premium. The role is for a replacement.
