We are seeking a Merchandiser Representative for the retail hardware sector in the Greater Montreal area.

Under the supervision of the Retail Sales Director, the representative will support the sales team with the installation of displays and in-store merchandising for the Richelieu brand portfolio. The merchandiser must ensure the implementation of programs according to guidelines provided by brand managers and the sales representative. This position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory and involves physical work, including the handling of heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Set up store layouts according to planograms created by brand managers and / or sales representatives
• Travel throughout the territory (Montréal, Laval, Montérégie, Lower Laurentides, Lanaudière) as scheduled
• Represent Richelieu during in-store setups
• Supervise external firm agents
• Assist with booth installation during exhibitions or trade shows
• Know the various products from different brands in order to answer customer questions
• Learn the different merchandising components for each brand
• Proactively resolve issues that may arise during setups and / or communicate them to the account manager
• Provide reports with photos at the end of each setup
• Submit a monthly expense report
