Location- WFH (Fully Remote (Prefers Pacific & Mountain time, but open to Eastern)

Duration- 6 Months- strong chance of extension

Description :

As a 5G Capacity and Data Analytics Specialist, you’ll provide technical leadership to ensure we efficiently plan and deploy network capacity based on customer specific requirements.

The role is an intersection between Network Performance, Business Requirements and Customer Experience.

Your creativity coupled with strong data analytics skills and RF Engineering will allow us to find the best ways of building our wireless 4G / 5G networks to support existing and new services.

You will combine your expert knowledge of wireless networks and analytical skills in applying machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive actions and decisions.

In close collaboration with teams across the company, you’ll seek out various data sources and identify new business opportunities while championing data driven decision making and the accelerated adoption of AI

  • By using modern data science and automation techniques, transform our RAN capacity planning processes to enter the 5G service based era
  • By proactively defining novel capacity planning techniques / models for 5G / LTE use cases
  • By producing and managing the RAN network capacity plans for mobility and fixed wireless users
  • By collaborating with other technical and business teams to understand new technologies and services to make our team to succeed in an evolving business environment
  • By developing dashboards and data visualizations, you will provide insights into wireless network capacity that can be shared with executives and peer groups
  • By monitoring network performance, you will identify actual capacity problems and predict future congestion issues in the network
  • By leading the implementation of wireless capacity augments, you will build working processes with performance and construction teams to drive improvements in customer experience.

Must-Have Skills

Advanced Data Science and Analytics : The job requires transforming capacity planning processes using modern data science techniques, developing predictive models, and creating data visualizations.

This skill is crucial for analyzing large datasets, forecasting, and providing insights.

Wireless Network Expertise (5G / LTE) : With a focus on RAN capacity planning for 5G and LTE technologies, a deep understanding of wireless networks is essential.

This includes knowledge of network performance, capacity planning, and optimization techniques specific to 5G and LTE.

Programming and Database Skills : Proficiency in Python, SQL , and familiarity with data analysis libraries. These skills are necessary for data manipulation, analysis, and working with various database systems.
