Reporting to the Manager of Business Support for Enforcement, the successful candidate will bring value to the team through the maintenance, support and improvement of work management systems for the Enforcement Division (Animal Services, Parking Enforcement, Mobile Licensing and Compliance & Licensing).

Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads business improvement projects, through traditional and creative means of data gathering, consolidating, researching, troubleshooting, investigating, monitoring and auditing, application issues and enhancements
- Connects the dots to understand the “why” behind the data
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders to ensure the needs of their business units are met, including leading and coordinating all application testing, communications to staff and using data and analysis to advocate for process improvements with a strong emphasis on efficiency and LEAN principals.
- Designs, develops and deploys standardized and ad-hoc reports to complete information audits, identify gaps and present findings that provide insight into remedial steps to the Enforcement team.
- Support evidence-based decision making by using advanced skills to analyze business needs along with supporting data, to highlight process issues.
- Develops, deploys and creates ad-hoc reports with varying degrees of complexity using Crystal Reports, Tableau, Lumira, Excel, SSDS, SQL developer and INFOR.
- Leverages data to identify opportunities to improve regulatory frameworks and enhance decision making processes.
- Assists with the deployment of new hardware and software releases to the Enforcement Division.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with business partners and clients to foster an open, trusting environment by sharing information in a timely manner and by expressing ideas, thoughts and information for success of the projects.
- Provides ongoing support and training to staff through documented materials, working teams and other communication challenges; Develop and deliver Staff technical training.

Skills and Qualifications
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Public Policy or equivalent is requiredProject Management certification and / or LEAN certification is an assetPrevious working experience with case management systems and conducting data analysisRequired technical skills include previous experience with : Data Mining Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Advanced ability to run reports and create dashboards using raw dataStrong oral and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences using different mediums are requiredStrong problem solving skills and ability to work with vague direction under tight timelines is requiredDemonstrated ability to self-motivate and drive projects through to completion in a collaborative team environment while ensuring customer satisfactionAbility to undertake cross-jurisdictional scans, support Business Analysts in report writing and undertaking research and analysis using qualitative and quantitative dataExperience in conducting surveys, community engagement, presentations to the public is an assetHourly Rate / Salary : $ 76,313.00 - $ 101,753.00
