Senior Specialist Workforce Planning – Human Resources, People & Culture

ABOUT THE POSITION

Evaluate data to predict workforce needs and perform assessments to ensure proper resources required to meet organizational goals.

Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders, offering support for operational and strategic initiatives that involve organizational resources.

Identify and address skill gaps within the organization, providing data-driven recommendations.

Collaborate to design and develop predictive models for creating scenarios or forecasting future workforce needs, enabling data-driven talent planning and proactive people strategies.

Contribute to the creation and implementation of a comprehensive workforce planning framework, including methodologies and processes.

Offer workforce planning services, such as analyzing workforce and skill gaps, developing action plans, monitoring progress, and providing updates to the business.

Lead discussions on strategic workforce trends, predictive resourcing, capability insights, and future skill gaps.

Develop and manage succession planning processes, including assessments for high-potential employees, critical roles, and essential knowledge areas.

Collaborate with P&C stakeholders and business leaders to ensure effective development plans are established for key positions.

Design and deliver presentations on findings to all levels of leadership, including the C-Suite.

THE REQUIREMENTS

A degree or diploma in a relevant field (such as business management, operations, human resources, etc.)

4 to 6 years of experience in People & Culture.

Must have a background in working with workforce data and insights or related strategic workforce planning roles

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Demonstrated expertise in best practices for comprehensive workforce planning activities

Excellent business acumen.

Proven ability to deliver and create a visual narrative for presentations.

Proven ability to create technical documentation and convey complex information clearly

Track record of simplifying complex data sets to generate understanding and manage large volumes of information to deliver actionable insights

Demonstrated experience in influencing and assisting business stakeholders in framing their business challenges

COMPENSATION

Annual salary range is up to $132,000 however the expected salary range is $90,000 $105,000. 3 weeks vacation and comprehensive benefits are provided.
