Job description

Overview

Languages : English

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience : 3 years to less than 5 years. On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting : Rural area. Relocation costs covered by employer

Budgetary responsibility : $500,001 - $1,500,000

Responsibilities

  • Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Cost products and services
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Leading / instructing individuals
  • Address customers\' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service
  • Manage events
