Position Description:

About the Role

CGIs Artificial Intelligence Practice is entering a phase of accelerated growth. We are seeking a Pre-Sales Lead with a strong technical background and proven ability to engage with C-level decision-makers.

This strategic role combines deep technological understanding consultative business development and active contribution to the structuring of our AI offering. It is designed for a professional capable of representing CGI at the executive level while collaborating closely with our specialized technical teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Executive Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leaders (CIO CTO VP Technology).
Identify qualify and develop AI opportunities aligned with clients strategic priorities.
Lead high-level workshops demonstrations and discussions to guide AI technology decisions.
Translate business challenges into concrete measurable and achievable AI use cases.
Solution Design & Structuring
Develop comprehensive proposals: vision architecture scope estimates ROI risks and roadmap.
Collaborate with AI architects data scientists and MLOps engineers to validate technical feasibility.
Ensure alignment between client expectations technical capabilities and delivery strategy.
Participate in RFP/RFI responses and preparation of strategic documentation.
Practice Growth & Thought Leadership
Contribute to the creation of methodological assets (frameworks accelerators demonstrators).
Support the structuring of CGIs AI offering at the regional level.
Shape the technological direction of the AI practice by analyzing emerging trends (LLM agents advanced MLOps) and translating them into offers accelerators and concrete client use cases.
Promote the visibility of the AI practice through events communities and thought leadership activities.

Profile & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Background in software development architecture data engineering AI/ML or cloud.
Strong understanding of key concepts: LLMs data pipelines MLOps cloud AI services.
Ability to challengeand be challenged bysenior technical experts.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical executives.
Consultative & Interpersonal Skills
Excellent communication skills with ease engaging C-level stakeholders in strategic discussions.
Natural leadership strong synthesis ability and a consultative mindset.
Capacity to articulate a clear vision influence technological direction and deliver compelling narratives.
Strong impact orientation and ability to quickly recognize high-value opportunities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience
Minimum 5 years in a technical or techno-functional role.
Client-facing or pre-sales experience (strong asset).
Experience in professional services or consulting (asset).

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $105 000$200 000. This role is a future opportunity.
