GIS Project Manager – Dillon Consulting Limited

Location : Flexible work hours. The successful candidate can be based at any of our offices in the GTA, Kingston or Ottawa.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Delivery : Plan, manage, implement and deliver complex GIS and data analytics solutions. Lead multiple high‑priority, complex, long‑term projects through all phases in alignment with business strategies.
• Client Relationship Management : Engage clients and stakeholders to identify outcomes, define deliverables, build consensus and manage expectations. Establish and maintain a consultative relationship with internal and external clients.
• Team Coordination : Manage assigned projects to ensure effective cross‑divisional teamwork and communication. Supervise project staff and provide direction and coaching to foster a positive, supportive, and open culture.
• Scope & Financial Management : Manage project scope, schedule and budget using tools that are part of the Microsoft and Google platforms. Accountable for the successful delivery of assigned projects to deliver results and benefits.
• Risk & Process Management : Identify, evaluate and document risks, issues, constraints and dependencies. Implement effective change request processes and document current state and future process workflows.
• Proposal Development & Execution : Author and lead the submission of proposal documents for GIS and Data Analytics projects. Review technical content and coordinate with authors to support successful submissions.
