We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to work with our Finance Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork
The Junior Financial Analyst (“JFA”) supports the Organizations strategic direction by ensuring accurate and timely provision of financial information and analysis. The JFA will assist with monthly and year end processes. This role is responsible for providing a variety of tasks including financial and statistical reconciliation, financial data analysis, forecasting, report preparation and providing insights to support business decisions and future planning of projects.This position reports to the Manager, Finance & Reporting and works closely with operations leaders and the finance team. Position Responsibilities:·Prepare and post month-end financial and statistical journal entries
·Review and reconcile accounts
·Investigate account discrepancies and process appropriate corrections
·Assist in preparing financial statements and cash flow projections
·Liaise with third party A/P team in the processing and payment of expenditures
·Manual invoicing and tracking of receivables balances
·Prepare and post year end journal entries
·Prepare audit working papers
·Assist Senior Financial Analyst develop operating and statistic budget
·Accountable for providing financial planning and analysis support for the assigned portfolio
·Assist with preparation of operating budget reports and forecasts
·Assist with the annual capital call process and reporting as required
·Responsible for preparing month end entries for the Foundation and assisting with their audit and monthly reports
·Analysis of program statistics and trends to against budget and other applicable KPIs
·Assist in developing, control and maintenance of new financial management reports, forms, worksheets, statistics and forecasts
·Assist in the development of new procedures and updates/improvements to existing procedures
·Work collaboratively with the finance team to support special projects
·Ensure completeness and accuracy of data in compliance with Hospital policies & accounting standards

·Performs other related duties as assigned.
