Robert Half is looking for candidates who want to join a dynamic, fast-growing team as a Payroll Clerk. This job will include supporting the Payroll department in a variety of functions, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should be skilled in proper communication with both the internal team and outside customers. What you get to do every single day

- Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals

- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc

- Compile a system of administering and distributing reports

- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Build and run custom reports

- Be the main point of instruction/training contact to employees regarding payroll-related best practices

Job Requirements:
- Process Bi-weekly Payroll experience preferred

- Experience with expense reports

- Payroll experience

- Adeptness in Multi-state Payroll

- Canadian Payroll experience desired

- Deep understanding of payroll systems for 100-500 employees

- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Previous payroll experience

- Payroll software experience recommended

- Strong attention to detail

- Proven ability to quickly learn new systems
