Job description

Our client is looking for an SAP Supply Chain Functional Lead Consultant.

Work Model : Mon & Fri work from home / remote; Tues – Thurs in the office in downtown Calgary.

Start Date : August 5, 2024

End Date : July 31, 2025

Supply Chain Functional Lead - Job Description

  • Act as the liaison between the customer's Supply Chain / Procurement teams and the customer's SI partner.
  • Assess current landscape and provide recommendations on future state design (return to standard, deletion of unused customizations, redundant / inefficient processes, etc.) and what new processes (standard) can meet business needs
  • Work with EAM stream to standardize cross-functional processes
  • Work with the customer's Supply Chain / Procurement Teams to understand their current business capabilities and processes, and document which can be met with standard S / 4 functionality and what customized business critical processes need to be remediated.
  • Implementation of Ariba Strategic Sourcing for Contract Repository only (not contract authoring) to provide centralization storage and notifications for contract status
  • Make sure all in-scope customizations are remediated and tested to meet the business requirements
  • Work with the SI partner to make sure any identified customizations to be deleted are removed and the standard functionality is activated and tested.
  • Assess data impacts on business processes and provide guidance to the data conversion lead & OCM team
  • Work with the Data Lead to identify, define rules, and transformations for the Supply Chain Data to be migrated / converted
  • Work with the SI partner's QA team to make sure all testing (unit, SIT, UAT) is completed and signed off
  • Work with various stakeholders to determine how / where reports should be generated.
  • Work with the OCM / Training Team to support User Training
  • Work with the SI partner to document processes, configurations, and best practices related to Supply Chain
