The Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge invites applications for the position of Program Coordinator for the newly funded NSERC Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program, TrainBioData. This innovative program addresses the growing demand for data scientists in bio-related industries by training students in both Machine Learning (ML) and Life Sciences. Over the next six years, the TrainBioData CREATE program will provide research-intensive training and stipends to more than 50 graduate and undergraduate students in bio-data science, preparing them for crucial roles in the Canadian economy.
Responsibilities :
The Program Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of the TrainBioData CREATE program. Primary responsibilities include :
Salary : about $50k / year (condition on budgetary approval)

Start Date : October or November 2024
