Job Description
Freud / Diablo Tools is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support Controlling functions within the Freud / Diablo operations in Mississauga, Ontario Canada. This is Monday to Friday 40 hour / week on site role working in office located in Mississauga, ON.
- Provide business support, leadership and stewardship to sales and management for the division
- Support Month End and Year End Closing
- Monthly KPI reporting in Bosch standard systems for local entity and group consolidation
- Support Controller in Forecasting and Budgeting for the division
- Owning responsibility for consolidated P&L reporting and analysis incl. revenue, margin and SG&A. Prepare monthly reporting package
- Proactively identify improvement measures and drive implementation
- Perform Month GL reconciliation and Analysis
- Monitor and control other Key Performance Indicator incl. A / R, Inventories and Headcount
- Support to develop new reports to support Business activity and for new KPI
- Provide reporting on customer sales allowances, bonus and commissions
- Driving gross margin analysis and provide deep dives to communicate to the business
- Support journal entries for accrued liabilities and provisions
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting incl. new business opportunities and sales promotions
- Project and other tasks as assigned
- Work in close conjunction with Bosch guidelines to ensure governance and legal compliance with Bosch accounting and financial practices, and provide financial support to the various stakeholders
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in a senior role in the consumer goods industry including distributionMust have budgeting & forecasting experience, be able to conduct gross margin analyses and handle corporate and employer taxExperience with transfer pricingCompleted Post-Secondary Degree Business or Accounting & FinanceCompleted CPA Designation is an assetStrong MS Office ability (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook)Experience with AS400, SAP or any other ERP systemAbility to work with a positive attitude and in a professional mannerStrong interpersonal and communication skills with can do attitudeStructured approach to problem solving, producing high quality work, with demonstrated follow-throughStrong analysis skills and broad business acumenLead continuous improvement initiativesAbility to work in a fast paced, changing environment, with hard deadlinesSelf-Awareness, the ability to plan for the future and work with minimum supervisionTeam player who understands when to constructively challenge the groups thinkingAbility to focus on the customer needs and understand issues from varying perspectivesExcellent organizational skills plus ability to manage multiple prioritiesAdditional Information
