The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services site and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors our staff and our communities. About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Program Manager Interprovincial Organ Sharing (IPOS) to join our dynamic Organ & Tissue Donation & Transplantation (OTDT) team.

The Organ & Tissue Donation & Transplantation team is responsible for overseeing Canadian Blood Services national organ sharing programs improving system performance increasing transplantation rates and improving patient outcomes.

The Program Manager will oversee the development continuous improvement and monitoring and evaluation of assigned interprovincial organ sharing programs that are in support of business strategy and objectives.

In this role you will be responsible for the overall daily management and long-term development of interprovincial organ sharing program initiatives including development and implementation of interprovincial organ sharing policies. You will work in collaboration with the OTDT team its medical advisors the regional organ donation organizations organ transplant programs and living donation programs HLA laboratories professional societies health care professionals information system vendors Canadian Blood Services advisory committees Health Canada Canadian Institute of Health Information national and international research experts as well as patient and public partners including donors and their families to advance and improve the performance and quality of the OTDT system in Canada.
