About the Opportunity

• Complete month-end close for assigned portfolio of clients (incl. accounting reconciliations, related journal entries, P&L review / analysis)

Investigate and conduct analytics to resolve month end variances

Manage various business functions for assigned portfolio of clients

Prepare reports for client and management reporting purposes

Support administrative functions (i.e. client payment preps, customer / vendor invoices)

Drive process improvements and efficiencies

Maintain complex spreadsheet models

Ad Hoc analytics, projects and accounting tasks as required

About You

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly initiative, self-motivated and quick to learn

Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to handle changing priorities and schedules

Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills

Post-Secondary Accounting education or Accounting Designation (or in process)

Sage X3 ERP proficiency an asset

Salary Range

$85,000 / year
