Your opportunity

Dillon’s Contaminant Assessment & Management discipline is looking for a Senior Hazardous Materials Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience.

This position could be based at our Calgary, Edmonton, Chatham, Guelph, Kitchener, London, Windsor, Downtown Toronto, North York, Hamilton, Oakville, Ottawa offices, with preference in Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, Halifax, Sydney, St. John’s offices. We offer flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangement options to help balance work and personal life.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

Technical & Project Management

• Train and mentor staff on Hazardous Materials Assessments
• Establish and maintain standard protocols and reporting standards for Hazardous Materials Assessments
• Technical review and risk management for hazardous materials assessment and management projects.
• Manage and coordinate projects and technical studies for a variety of environmental assignments
• Prepare and present reports and proposals
• Direct and instruct project team members including natural scientists, engineers, planners, technologists and technical support staff
• Enhance client relationships and develop new business opportunities with both public and private sector clients
