Position Details :

AM Sort Manager - Monday to Friday, 1 : 00am-10 : 00am - additional hours as required based on operational needs.

Salary range : $70-$85K based on experience and qualifications

Description

We are looking for an experienced individual to manage and lead a team team of unionized AM dock employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment while ensuring that operational goals are met efficiently. This role requires a motivated leader who can drive performance through effective coaching, recognition, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise dock operation
• Manage a group of unionized employees.
• Create a positive work environment, building employee loyalty and a team atmosphere.
• Responsible for achieving objectives as outlined in the operational scorecard.
• Responsible for managing performance of employees as per operational standards and indices.
• Improve operational standards through reviews of employee performance, coaching, counseling and recognition.
• Responsible for communicating and implementing policy, procedure or programs.
• Responsible for completing a variety of reports and documents.
• Provide vacation and other coverage for Unit Managers / docks
• All other related and assigned duties.
