Job description

Hiring Customer Service Representatives for a  CSR and Claims CSR - temporary to direct hire. This is Remote but must be located in Alaska.

START DATE IS DECEMBER 2nd, 2024

2 types of positions available depending on your experience”

CSR - Call center / Customer Service

Claims / Medical Billing CSR

Both jobs require 100% phones and email while on duty

IMPORTANT :

Schedules are Monday - Friday between 7AM and 6PM. Closing shift is 9 : 30am - 6pm. MUST BE flexible on the shift you end up with.

New Employee Onboarding is from 6am - 10am Alaska Time

Training classes with be 5 weeks from 6am - 10pm

MUST BE located in Alaska

REMOTE - Computer equipment will be sent directly to o your home

Must have high speed internet

Pay Explanation : $20.79 an hour + a fringe benefit of $4.93 an hour during the contract portion. Total of $25.72 an hour.

Once you convert to a permanent employee it will operate like this :

SCA requires employers to provide a minimum value of fringe benefits to their hourly employees who work on the contract.

Medical and 401(k) plans are a typical means for employers to meet this requirement.

A cash deposit on your behalf that meets the Health and Welfare rate of  $4.93  per hour up to 40 hours in a week will be deposited into your 401(k);

This rate which will be subject to change upon determination of the Government.

The Health and Welfare rate is not considered part of your base pay and will not apply to payment of overtime hours worked.

If you decide to elect medical benefits, the medical plan you enroll may meet the requirement for the fringe benefits; at that time the 401(k) cash deposit would cease.

Customer Service Rep

Job Summary

Provides outstanding customer service related to Veteran care through the our Network  in a fast-paced contact center. Responds to inbound calls and chat messages regarding authorizations for medical and behavioral health care, provider status and availability, or claims payment and status. Accurately assesses caller requests, answers caller inquires and processes requests while focusing on first call resolution and / or appropriate call escalation protocols. May make outbound calls to schedule appointments based on Veteran or VA request. Resolves administrative eligibility discrepancies through account research and review.

Education & Experience

Required

o      High School diploma or GED

o      One year experience in a customer service role with performance metrics

o      Experience using Microsoft Office products and the Internet

Preferred

o      Healthcare industry experience to include knowledge of health services

o      Contact center experience to include call center chat messaging

o      Military experience focusing on service delivery
