About Our Client
Our client, a leader in the financial industry, is seeking an Estate Planning Specialist (EPS) to join their team on a hybrid basis in their downtown Vancouver office! In this position you will be responsible for collaborating with Investment Advisors to deliver comprehensive financial planning, retirement projections, and personalized insurance solutions. This role requires expertise in financial planning, wealth preservation, and insurance products to drive new business opportunities while maintaining high standards of client service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare financial projections and comprehensive plans tailored to client needs.
- Provide recommendations on CPP / OAS payments, RIF conversions, tax strategies, and corporate details.
- Design and present customized insurance solutions for clients.
- Serve as the agent of record for orphaned insurance policies, ensuring proper client file maintenance.
- Cultivate relationships with Investment Advisors and their clients, tracking successes and addressing changes affecting client finances.
- Apply advanced estate planning strategies, including corporate integrations and cross-border considerations.
- Offer mentorship and maintain expertise in financial planning trends, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the servicing of existing insurance policies and establish a streamlined system for follow-up and client updates.
- Travel up to 20% to meet branch and client needs.
Qualifications :
University degree and 7+ years of industry experience.FSRA life licensing in British Columbia (additional provincial licensing is an asset).CFP designation required; CLU or tax-related designations are a plus.Advanced knowledge of life and health insurance products, taxation, and estate planning.Proficiency in financial planning software and insurance underwriting processes.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time and work onsite two days a week when not traveling.Apply now by sending your updated resume to Cynthia Gray at [email protected].
