Typical Scope

As a Director of Finance, you’ll be a key strategic leader, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to drive business performance
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards
• Partner with executive leadership to develop long-term growth strategies
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform decision-making
• Implement and refine financial processes, systems, and controls to support scalability
• Support initiatives such as M&A, funding rounds, and market expansions
• Mentor and develop high-performing finance teams

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA designation highly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive financial experience, including senior leadership roles
• Proven success in strategic financial planning and team development
• Expertise in IFRS/GAAP, budgeting, and risk management
• Experience in high-growth or transformative industries is an asset
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
