Job description

Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Technical Lead for a long term opportunity at Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position) .

Our Client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Title : Technical Lead

Location : Toronto, ON (hybrid- 3 days onsite / Week)

Long Term Contract

Client : Banking / Financial

Our focus for the Tech lead :

  • Expert in Database development, sql tuning, db performance tuning, db object controls and best practices
  • Db used - SqlServer, SingleStore, Sybase, snowflake (less on snowflake more on others)

Details :

  • Tech Lead for Data transformation platform team.
  • Strong Database development and data migration background. Worked on multiple end to end migrations.
  • Collaborate with multiple programs / stakeholders for data strategy.
  • Responsible for database and solution design for multiple integrations.
  • Provide technical direction to overall team for implementation and issue resolution.
  • Working experience with multiple in memory and cloud databases.
  • Hands on with Rest API and GraphQL solutions deployed on Openshift.
  • Hands on with streaming solutions like kafka.
  • Working experience with CI CD pipelines.
  • Expert with DB design, data modellling and query performance tuning.
  • Working knowledge of dashboard solutions like ELK, Graphana.
