Revenue and Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Opportunity

• Manage billing, revenue, and accounts receivable activities for an assigned customer portfolio

Review finalized sales agreements for accuracy and ensure proper setup for invoicing and revenue recognition

Validate and issue customer invoices, ensuring alignment with contracts and purchase documentation

Monitor recorded revenue for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Apply payments, credits, and refunds; maintain accurate customer account balances

Support customer requests related to billing adjustments, credits, contract changes, and cancellations

Partner cross-functionally (sales, support, operations) to resolve billing and account matters

Track receivables performance and provide reporting on aging, collections, and revenue metrics

Perform month-end AR tasks including reconciliations, ledger reviews, and collectability assessments

Prepare manual invoices or journal entries as needed

Maintain organized financial records and ensure data accuracy across systems

Support process improvements and assist junior team members when required

About You

Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or related field

Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach

High attention to detail and accountability for accuracy

Advanced spreadsheet skills (lookups, conditional formulas, etc.)

Comfortable with common business systems and collaboration tools

Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Interest in professional growth within accounting / finance; designation progress is an asset

Experience with CRM, ERP, or billing systems is an asset

Salary Range

$55,000 - $60,000 / year
