Job Description
CS Group Canada is seeking a Senior / Expert Hardware Design Engineer with strong experience in video and audio systems to contribute the development and certification of automotive and avionics applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate complex electronic modules (FPGA, CPLD, electronic boards, ASIC, etc.) in a video processing and avionics context (preferred)
- Perform analysis and resolution of hardware anomalies in collaboration with system and software teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement of hardware development processes and verification methodologies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years of experience in FPGA design and integration using Xilinx Kintex / UltraScale devices and / or the development and validation of Complex / Airborne Electronic Hardware (CEH / AEH)Proficiency with Vivado (synthesis, implementation, timing closure, and debug)Solid RTL development skills (VHDL and / or Verilog / SystemVerilog)Hands-on experience with video processing pipelines and 4K resolutionCertification standards (DO-254 experience is an asset)Experience integrating DisplayPort interfaces (HDMI experience is an asset)of high-speed serial transceivers and FPGA clocking architecturesStrong technical documentation and communication skillsFamiliarity with simulation, testing, and verification toolsStrong communication skills and technical writing abilitiesProficiency in both French and EnglishAdditional Information
