Operating an Inline machine to produce bags to fulfill scheduled customer requirements and specifications while achieving the highest quality standards and output possible. Perform regular quality checks, and strive to achieve elimination of waste and a reduction in defects. Bring any mechanical or machine-related issues to attention to help maintain the safe & proper operation of our equipment. Communicate and work cooperatively with your department lead and other team members of your shift.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate Inline Bagger to comply with customer bag specifications, order requirements, and verified quality.
- Maintain the Inline Machine by performing daily safety checks & bringing maintenance-related issues to attention.
- Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained through quality verification of the box & weight, bag width & length, material strength & appearance, skid & film required, date stamp & labeling, skid type & box stacking.
- Questionable quality that does not meet standards must be brought to the attention of your department lead and possibly made into non-conforming product for later inspection.
- Conduct machine audits to look for any damage, quality concerns, and safety concerns; bring to the attention of department lead.
- Basic understanding of folds, equipment adjustments, and minor PTO adjustments.
- Understand how to thread each individual machine in the inline process.
- Good understanding of Inline Operating Procedures.
- Input production into the PC to record and track production.
- Ensure the machine is running well and any possible shift issues have been resolved for the following shift.
- Leave machine & surrounding area well maintained and cleaned, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment.
- Produce accurate, concise, timely, and legible information and record keeping for the production log.
- Work in a manner that does not jeopardize safety for you or any other team member; adhere to company policy.
- Other related duties as required.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities :
Ensure all scrap, skids, boxes, and labels are stored in correct designated areas.All previous order boxes, labels, and film must be removed from work area without excuses.Ability to fill in on other shifts inline equipment.Adherence to all health & safety, fire emergency, and Polyethics’ policies and procedures.Inspection and completion of daily safety checks and report any concerns.Education and Experience :
