About the Position
We are currently seeking a CNC Operator – Laser Cutting to join our manufacturing team in Quebec City.
The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses strong technical and manual skills.
Fluency in French is mandatory for this role.
Salary: Based on experience (unionized position)
Schedule: Rotating day and evening shifts, every two weeks
- Day shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Evening shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Main Responsibilities
- Start up and operate the CNC cutting table by selecting appropriate materials and programs.
- Operate laser cutting machines, collect finished parts, and manage scrap material.
- Inspect the quality of cut or bent parts and make necessary adjustments.
- Sort and organize parts according to specifications and ensure proper material recycling.
- Set up and operate the press brake according to material type and thickness.
- Program the press brake using part codes.
- Change tools as needed and verify the quality of bent parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Fluency in French (mandatory).
- Diploma in metallurgy or equivalent vocational training (asset).
- Experience operating CNC machinery (asset).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Basic computer skills.
- Accuracy, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving ability.
