The Outside Sales Associate, reporting to the Commercial Director, will play an active role in selling and developing accounts within the B2B Commercial sales team. You will achieve sales objectives through effective planning, goal setting, cold calling, prospecting, developing quotes, presenting, and closing builder / new home construction accounts. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this successful candidate will also help deliver sales through other trade channels for major appliances, commercial office furniture, and home furnishings / electronics.

  • Drive B2B commercial market share growth focusing on premium and luxury appliance brands, electronics, office, and home furnishings through active solicitation, customer sales presentations, and closing.
  • Meet targets and performance plans in cooperation with the Director of Sales.
  • Meet with the Director of Sales monthly to review performance, progress, and targets.
  • Utilize Salesforce as the central CRM system to manage leads and develop quotes.
  • Provide expertise on high-end appliances across various brands depending on client needs.
  • Analyze sales data for the market and develop plans to address gaps.
  • Work with the Sales Director to create innovative upselling programs and go-to-market strategies to increase sales within the builder / developer industry and related trade channels.

Daily Activities

  • Cold calling and prospecting to generate leads.
  • Develop sales presentations for prospects.
  • Ensure on-site presence for all deliveries, meeting schedules.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints, developing solutions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the commercial sales customer care team to deliver exceptional client experiences for both B2B and individual customers.
  • Engage in new business development aligned with divisional goals and KPIs.
