Our Headquarters in Kingsville, ON is currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our Information Technology team. The Network Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure across 20+ company locations and Azure cloud environments. This position requires strong technical expertise in enterprise networking, including Cisco, Fortinet, SD-WAN, and cloud networking technologies. The Network Engineer works closely with the Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing connectivity across distribution centers, greenhouses, and corporate sites. This position provides technical expertise for network projects and contributes to the continuous improvement of network performance, security, and reliability.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across 20+ remote locations, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
- Manage and optimize the SD-WAN environment (VMware VeloCloud), ensuring efficient traffic routing and site connectivity.
- Configure and maintain Cisco switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure, adhering to industry best practices and security guidelines.
- Manage Fortinet firewalls and security appliances, including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- Implement and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, including authentication.
- Design and maintain Azure networking components, including VNets, peering, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, NSGs, and Azure Firewall.
- Monitor and analyze network performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement proactive measures to optimize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues, providing timely resolutions and minimizing impact on business operations.
- Collaborate with the Security team on network segmentation, firewall policies, and security measures to protect the organization's IT assets.
- Plan and execute network projects, including upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning, while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments for enterprise Wi-Fi design and implementation.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical network incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
Qualifications / Education & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles.Multi-site network support experience.Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.Experience with Cisco networking equipment, including switches, routers, wireless controllers, and IOS configuration.Experience with Fortinet security appliances, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.Experience with SD-WAN technologies (VMware VeloCloud or similar).Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions and authentication.Experience with Azure networking, including VNets, peering, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and NSGs.Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi design, troubleshooting, and site surveys.Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and propose effective solutions.Strong communication skills, with the ability to document technical configurations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or Azure Network Engineer are preferred.Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is preferred.Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or food / agriculture industry is preferred.Experience supporting warehouse and greenhouse environments is preferred.Please note : Mastronardi Produce has accommodation processes and policies in place and provides accommodation for employees with disabilities.
