• Our TDA team is the part of the business where you can influence internally within our delivery teams and work closely with the customer to meet their business requirements. You will have the opportunity to use your excellent technical knowledge and passion for working with people; along with your business acumen and understanding of the best options for our customer moving forwards. You are proactive and look at ways to improve business outcomes.
• The role of the TDA is to provide technical leadership and guide both our internal teams and the customer to deliver successful outcomes. The TDA is accountable for BT’s technical understanding of the environment, driving proactive technical improvements, acting as a bridge between BT and the customer technical staff and ensuring technical requirements for contract obligations are met through solutioning.
• This role will be based in Perth/Montreal.
• For the Canadian role the candidate must be fluent in both English and French.

What you’ll do

As TDA you will be focused primarily on Pre-Sales architecture of solutions to achieve business requirements with some hands-on implementation works secondary.

• Ensuring solutions map to the customer’s business processes and requirements.
• Proactively drive technical improvements to the customer through new and existing technologies.
• Developing and maintaining strong technical relationships within BT & customer technical teams.
• The technical designs supplied by BT are seamless to the customer.
• Being a trusted advisor to the customer for the environment and understands the interdependencies of interfacing services with other service providers or technical teams.

What you’ll bring

This is an excellent senior opportunity and as such, we are looking for someone with at least 5+ years’ experience in a senior technical pre-sales role and a minimum of 5 years experience implementation or troubleshooting large and complex environments.

You will have a proven track record in building and developing effective client solutions and relationships. With exceptional knowledge in:

1. Cisco SDWAN skills: Creating Feature and Device Configuration Templates and CSV variable files.
2. Feature Templates: For System, AAA, NTP, VPNs, Interface-config, BGP-routing, Thousand-Eyes, CLI etc

CCNP – or equivalent.

Ideally you will have had exposure to and understanding of ITIL disciplines, be able to operate under limited direction and will have excellent time-management and organisational skills. Your ability to facilitate technical discussions and coordinate pre-sales efforts will be second to none.
