Civil Engineer

LRL Engineering is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Ottawa, Ontario .   The role would be partially in Our Ottawa office and be given the opportunity to work from home. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in site development and municipal projects , looking to apply their technical expertise in a collaborative and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and support the design and analysis of site development and municipal infrastructure projects from conceptual design through to construction approval.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical studies, and stormwater management reports in accordance with local guidelines.
• Design calculations as they relate to Servicing and Stormwater management.
• Ensure projects align with City of Ottawa, MECP, and other relevant design standards depending on project location.
• Collaborate with designers and drafters to deliver high-quality civil engineering designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Liaise with clients, municipalities, other engineering disciplines and regulatory agencies throughout the project.
• Support the preparation of engineering drawings, ECA submissions, cost estimates and reports to support site development.
