On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a BizTalk Developer to work with the Systems Integration Services team to help deliver integration solutions as part of a large project to implement a provincial ERP solution for the province. The BizTalk Integration developer will be required to participate in status meetings and assist with testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixes, as well as design, document, and develop any needed integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions within the Enterprise Application Integration platform (Microsoft BizTalk).
• Build and maintain integration interfaces between the systems to support ERP project deliverables.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design sessions, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Collaborate with business teams, project managers, and technical groups to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Provide troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements as needed.
• Support operational tasks related to existing or new integrations.
• Adhere to the standards, health & safety, privacy, and security policies.
• Develop integration applications that meet business requirements and best practice standards.
• Design, document, install, and configure BizTalk-based integration solutions.
• Work with business teams, project managers, and stakeholders to support solution implementation.
• Complete development and maintenance activities, including incidents, releases, service requests, and documentation.
• Monitor, performance tune, and troubleshoot BizTalk environments and integrations.
• Work directly with customers to gather requirements and present integration solutions.
• Guide development efforts using BizTalk and complementary technologies.
• Manage technical scope and client expectations.
• Ensure alignment with Systems Integration Services team architecture and processes.
• Produce solution documentation aligned with templates.
• Analyze existing solutions and refresh or create solution documentation.
• Transfer knowledge to Integration team members.
