A typical day :
- Establish ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.
- Work with customers to determine their requirements and investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
- Answer questions and offer suggestions to prospects based on a thorough knowledge of company's product lines.
- Assist customers with any relevant paperwork to complete the sale.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of competitor's products for comparison.
- Maintain and expand the company's database of customers.
- Understand and implement proper pricing policies / procedures.
- Maintain excellent relationships the manufacturer's representatives.
Successful candidates will have :
5+ years of inside sales experience on technical products (fluid power, motors, valves, pumps, hydraulics, bearings, gear boxes).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Previous experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, CRM, etc).Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.Ability to make product / system selections from the 5 top product lines.Previous experience in pumps, lubrication, finishing or general industrial markets.Total rewards :
