ABOUT US :

Founded in 1993, Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets.

POSITION SUMMARY

Business Intelligence Associate, Center of Excellence (BI CoE) will support the development and maintenance of Business Intelligence solutions that enhance our investment decision-making process. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge BI technologies and contributes to the growth of our firm.

We are looking for a self-starter that is eager to learn and engage with solving complex problems across the enterprise using Power BI and / or Tableau.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assist in the design and development of BI solutions that align with our alternative investment strategies.
  • Work with investment teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • DataViz - Ability to create an effective UX dashboard design
  • Build and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports for financial data analysis.
  • Set best practices, design and modelling standards for other teams
  • Resolve technical issues and contribute to the testing and deployment of BI applications.
  • Stay informed of the latest trends and best practices in business intelligence and financial services.
  • Opportunity to work with ADF and Snowflake

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Experience in Power BI and in Tableau
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
  • Tableau Desktop Specialist or higher certification
